Infused rum tasting in the Jura

Come and taste our infused rums where they are made: at the Francheville greenhouse, in the Jura Bresse, about twenty minutes from Lons-le-Saunier. It is a guided tasting of about two hours, in a small group, surrounded by the plants that go into our infusions.

How the tasting works

  1. The greenhouse. We start with the ethnobotanical garden, where LEGBA was born.
  2. Our method. We explain what sets an infused rum apart from an arranged rum, without going into the detail of our technique, which remains our own workshop know-how.
  3. The tasting. You taste our range, from 40% vol to 49% vol, with a smell and taste game to recognise the aromas.
  4. The aperitif platter goes along with the discovery.

Booking

Write to us at contact@legba.fr with the number of participants and your availability, and we will set the date together. Fewer than five of you? Let us know: we will add you to a tasting that is already planned.

Give it as a gift

The tasting is available as a gift card: 25 € per person, valid for 12 months and transferable. The recipient chooses their date directly with us.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to like rum to come?
Not necessarily. Many visitors discover our infused rums without knowing much about rum: the fruit is not masked.

Can I come alone or as a couple?
Yes. We will add you to a tasting that is already scheduled.

Can we come as a group, for a birthday or an outing with friends?
Yes, that is actually the ideal format: a group of 5 to 9 people, on the date that suits you.

Is there parking on site?
Yes, you can park in front of the greenhouse.

Can I buy on site?
Yes, the whole range is sold direct at the greenhouse.

What about getting home?
Remember to choose a designated driver who does not drink.
