Natural handmade incense, raw resins and fumigation woods, chosen as much for what traditions have made of them as for their scent. No synthetic fragrance soaked onto a charcoal stick: raw plant materials, and blends we compose ourselves.

What you will find here

The collection is divided into three families.

First, resins, to burn on charcoal or on a mesh incense burner: olibanum, also called frankincense, harvested from Boswellia trees, and dragon's blood, taken from the dragon tree. These are the oldest materials used for fumigation, present in Mediterranean and Near Eastern rituals since Antiquity.

Next, woods, with palo santo (Bursera graveolens), used in South America, a single sliver of which is enough to scent a room, and Californian white sage.

Finally, sticks and blends, including our 5 Éléments series - Terre (earth), Eau (water), Air, Feu (fire), Éther (ether) - and our compositions made with plants from the greenhouse: eucalyptus, bay laurel and cedar, or chamomile, calendula and olibanum.

What we say about them, and what we don't

These products accompany practices - meditation, yoga, ceremonies, or simply scenting a room - and the traditions that use them credit them with purifying and protective powers. We are happy to tell the story of these uses, because they are part of the history of these materials and are the very subject of ethnobotany. We attribute no health effect to them, and they are not medical products.

How to use them

Air the room after use, never leave incense burning unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and animals. Burning produces fine particles: a well-ventilated room and moderate use are better than continuous smoke.

Also worth exploring: our teas and infusions, our ritual plants, and the Coffret Arcane gift box, which brings together incense, teas and a bottle.
