Mon Amour tea - strawberry and orchid

China Sencha green tea, Assam black tea, natural flavouring, Mao Feng white tea, strawberry, cranberry, rose petals, cornflower blossoms. Loose tea.

• Amount: 12 to 15 g per litre, or about 3 g for a 250 ml cup
• Temperature: 75 to 80 °C
• Infusion time: 2 to 3 minutes

Enjoy it hot for a tender, fragrant break, or iced to bring out its fruity and floral side. The red fruits open the cup, then rose and orchid take over on the finish.

Why blend three types of tea?
Each one brings its own dimension: Sencha a fresh green note, Assam body and roundness, white Mao Feng floral finesse. On its own, none of them would give this balance between gentleness and structure.

What temperature should I brew it at, given the blend?
75 to 80 °C, like a green tea. Any hotter and the green tea and white tea would turn bitter. Do not go beyond 3 minutes.

Is it very high in theine (caffeine)?
Moderately. The Assam makes it brisker than a green tea alone, but the short infusion limits extraction. Best enjoyed during the day.
