Arranged rum macerates in sugar for weeks, which masks the ingredient and rounds everything off. Our infusion technique is an entirely different process. It is a method we developed ourselves and do not disclose: with a profile as dry as this one, it is what keeps the bitterness of the cocoa clean instead of turning cloying.

Agricole rum, rooibos, cocoa beans, lemon. No artificial flavouring, no colouring.

The cocoa lays down the depth, the rooibos the bittersweetness, and the lemon cuts through. Neat to appreciate all its nuances, chilled or over an ice cube, or as a base for original cocktails.

Cocoa: does it taste of chocolate?
No. These are infused cocoa beans, not chocolate. They bring a dry bitterness and a roasted depth, very far from a chocolate liqueur.

Can I taste it before buying a bottle?
Yes, and it is particularly recommended for this one. It comes in a 50 ml vial at 9 €, to choose in the selector above: the profile is unusual enough to deserve a try before the 500 ml.

How should I enjoy it?
Neat to appreciate all its nuances, or as a base for original cocktails. Served over ice or lightly chilled, it reveals the full complexity of its aromas.
